This Whole30 and Paleo compatible dish is made easily by using The New Primal's Almond Butter Turmeric Dressing. It has a bright and bold flavor and helps make dinner come together quickly.
• 1 lb. ground beef
• 6 bacon slices, chopped
• 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2 C dried cranberries
• 3/4 C The New Primal's almond butter turmeric dressing
• 1 1/2 C fresh green beans, steamed
• 1/2 tsp sea salt
1. In a large sauté pan on medium heat, add the chopped bacon and cook until it’s crispy. Once it’s crispy remove it from the pan with a slotted spoon and set it aside. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the bacon fat in the sauté pan.
2. Add the onions and cook until they are caramelized. Remove them from the pan and set them aside with the bacon. Add the beef and the garlic. Chop the beef up into smaller pieces and continue cooking until no pink remains. Drain the excess fat from the pan.
3. Add the steamed green beans, bacon, caramelized onion, cranberries, sea salt, and dressing. Mix everything together and continue cooking on low for about 10 minutes. Serve hot.
