Decadent Hot Chocolate
This hot chocolate is rich and creamy. The bonus part is that it's dairy-free and Paleo compatible.

Ingredients
- 3 C almond milk or nut milk of choice
- 1 C full fat coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 C Hu Chocolate gems or any 70% cacao chocolate chips
- 2 T-4 T maple sugar
- pinch of sea salt
- 4 scoops collagen peptides (optional)
Instructions
- In a thick-bottomed, medium-sized saucepan on low heat, add the almond milk, coconut milk, vanilla extract, maple sugar(start with 2 tablespoons), sea salt, collagen peptides, and Hu gems.
- While continuously whisking, warm the mixture up and combine the melted chocolate and milk. Heat the mixture until it’s hot, but do not boil it.
- Remove the hot chocolate from the heat and add more maple sugar if you like it sweeter.
- Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, sprinkles, and/or candy canes.
