Ingredients
- 1 3/4 C pumpkin puree
- 1/2 C coconut sugar
- 1/2 C apple juice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, add the pumpkin puree, coconut sugar, apple juice, vanilla extract, cinnamon sticks, pumpkin pie spice, and sea salt.
- Turn the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Once the mixture is simmering, turn the heat to low and simmer 5-7 minutes, often stirring to prevent it from burning.
- Remove the cinnamon sticks and store it in an airtight container for up to three weeks.
