Blended Matcha Latte

I love matcha. If you follow me on Instagram, you have seen me talk about my matcha obsession. Every morning I begin my day with a matcha latte. Now that we’ve moved to Louisiana, I wanted to create a matcha drink that would be perfect on a hot summer day and this drink came out perfect. I use high-quality matcha from Jade Leaf; if you use lesser quality, you may want to reduce the amount of matcha powder you add to the latte so it won’t be overpowering. I also used a frozen banana to help create a super creamy texture.

Blended Matcha Latte

Matcha is a favorite drink of mine, and this one is perfect for summer. It's Paleo and dairy-free, and easy to make.

Ingredients
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 C almond milk
  • 1 C ice cubes
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 T Jade Leaf Barista Edition Ceremonial Matcha (if using any other brand of matcha powder only add 1/2 T)
  • 1 scoop collagen peptides
  • 1 1/2 T light-colored honey

Instructions
  1. In a high-speed blender, combine all of the ingredients.
  2. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and the matcha has a creamy texture, about 1 minute.
  3. Enjoy!
