I have a sensitivity to nightshades and I know other people do as well. So I created this recipe to taste and feel like a traditional ragu that uses tomatoes. Even if you don’t have nightshade sensitivity, give this recipe a try. I promise you won’t miss the tomatoes one bit. In this recipe I use red wine, if you are currently on a round of Whole30, just omit the wine, the ragu will still taste great.
This beef ragu uses beets instead of tomatoes and zucchini noodles instead of pasta. It's Whole30 and Paleo compatible.
